CATEK Products Limited Warranty

CATEK Bindings are primarily made from high strength structural and aircraft aluminum. These parts are likely to last for many years. Plastic parts, however, may wear with extended use. If you ever have a problem, just contact us and we will do our best to get you back on the snow right away. We have shipped replacement parts to owners of CATEKs that have been on snow for over ten years!

Caron Alpine Technologies, Inc. warrants CATEK bindings to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of one year to their original Owner. If in the view of Caron Alpine Technologies, Inc. a product is found to be defective, then it will be repaired or replaced at the company’s choice. Upon making a warranty claim, an original sales receipt must be presented.

This warranty excludes the following:

Snowboarding is a hazardous sport and involves the risk of injury or even death. Also excluded from this warranty are losses due to injury, death, or property damage.

Kessler Snowboards Warranty

Kessler KST Snowboards are warranted against manufacturer defect by Kessler Engineering, GmbH of Switzerland. For specific questions and any claims, contact:

Kessler Snowboards | Dorf, 8784 Braunwald, Switzerland | office@kessler1.ch

Misuse, abuse, and damage due to normal wear and tear are not covered by this warranty. Damage due to improper binding or binding plate mounting also is not covered. Due to the specialized nature of these boards, a protective spacer such as the CATEK Race Spacer must be used between any binding and the snowboard in order to distribute binding loads.

Note: Kessler KST race snowboards are specialized products specifically intended for use only on groomed slopes. Damage resulting from use of these boards in any other circumstances is not covered under the manufacturer warranty.

CATEK will facilitate any warranty claims made on Kessler boards purchased from CATEK. If you have a question or claim, send high resolution digital images of the snowboard to document the area in question. We will review the images and provide initial feedback regarding the claim. In all cases, Kessler Snowboards is the final judge of any warranty claim, and if a customer believes the snowboard to be defective, he/she is responsible for returning the snowboard in question to Kessler for inspection.
